SESAMO Mobile OTP for mobile phones provides secure One Time Password authentication to sign banking transactions or to make a secure Login.
COUNTER BASED OTP
As a first measure of safety was chosen a model of OTP based on a counter that increases with each use, avoiding the fact that the OTP is valid for more than one access. ?The OTP is generated according to the OATH specifications which are based on algorithm HMAC-SHA1 to create a hash from the key stored in the token that generates the OTP and the counter that acts as a factor for each variant generation.
PIN
Sesamo Mobile OTP is PIN protected. User’s PIN is validated locally to prevent a
brute force attack.
ENCRYPTION
?On request it is possible to increase the security level of data exchanged between the mobile phone and the Web service using AES, DES/3DES algorithms.
