1) launch Emoji Free. Follow the in app
instructions until you reach the "SUCCESS" screen
2) quit Emoji Free, then open the device Settings
3) In settings, go to:
"General ? International ? Keyboards ? Japanese"
4) turn the Emoji switch ON
To type Emoji icons, tap the globe/world key on the
device keyboard (to the left of the space bar) to
bring up the Emoji keyboard. (if the Emoji keyboard
is not available at this point, try restarting your device)

• A: over 460!
• Q: Can I send text messages with Emoji icons?
• A: If the recipient is using an iPhone, then YES!
Although be aware, sending icons to non iPhone
users will not work – some cellphones will silently
ignore the entire message!

• A: Inside emails, text notes, web site forms, or
almost anywhere you can type text! – Keep in mind
the icons only show up to iPhone or iPod touch users
• Q: Can non iPhone/iTouch users see these icons?
• A: Sadly, no. Only iPhone/iPod touch devices
can display the icons. To everyone else the icons
show up as jibberish or blank characters.
This is a limitation of the Emoji character set,
